Yes, you read that right, Johnnie Walker Blue. If you haven't had it, HAVE IT. It's expensive, but worth it. It has a nice hint of smoke to it, and is oh so smooth.

I have never had the blue. I've had JW Black (nice) Red (blech) and I think gold ... nicer than black anyway.
No I'm not a scotch drinker nor do I play one on TV. Pyllgrum (who rarely visits anymore) is the scotch fiend at our house.

I bought my Father a bottle of Blue ($200). Very good stuff, but go for the Gold or Green label for an equal at a much cheeper cost. For a fantastic single malt, I prefer Jura 18 (from the Isle of Jura), GlenMorangie 18, or Glenfiddich 15 Special Reserve. Each can be had for between $45 - $60. All are fantastic scotches. Be sure to try some of those nice Irish Whiskies as well.
