Since I"m hiding from work at the moment and my mind was wandering (as it is wont to do) I was thinking about the beverage from faire I miss the most.
It simply has to be the Whitbread Ale down at the Boar's Head. That's probably due to the fact I have yet to find it anywhere else. Second on the list has to be the Sam Adam's Light. Yeah it's just a pretend light beer but it's still a yummy breakfast drink !
Anyone else?

If only we could get them to stock a decent red wine at the faire, instead of all that sweet dreck they have...

If only we could get them to stock a decent red wine at the faire, instead of all that sweet dreck they have... Ahhhh but they do have a decent red - ONE decent red: Bacioni. It's a little fruitier than I care for but it's not sweet. It's a fairly nice red actually. I've tried to purchase it off season and haven't had any luck. It's what I drink when it gets cool enough. I can't quite go 'room temperature' wine when the ambient temperature is 80 degrees and above --- it just doesn't work. *waves @ Amras*

I likes my wine likes I likes my womens...strong, robust, and strugglin to blow the cork off...:-)
I have had some of the Basiani Winery's products, and wish they would sell the strong, dry ones at faire! Till then, my favorite libaton at faire is liable to remain The Bee Sting.
Too lazy to log in...girl, you crack me up!

I got quite smitten this season with the Chocolate Covered Cherries at the Dargon's Lair...or, as we ordered them there...
"I'd like a Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat with a splash of Beamish in it, please."
Very tasty!
Just returned from Latalla's, stocking up on the above ingredients this afternoon.
Cheers!

I would think if any place had it they would.
